The Prayers of the Faithful included the intentions of our deceased members. Council members and spouses sat together at the mass. Who Coordinated: February 18: Jim Kuszaj, Rodger Ewbank, Jim Haag Submitted by: Joe Cox Date: March 15, 2006 Knights of Columbus North Carolina State Council 2006-07 Recognition Program Reporting Form Third Trimester: Church Program Council Name: St Luke the Evangelist Council Number: 12455 Program Title: RSVP Activity Code: CH-2 Report Period: 3^rd Trimester Description: Council supports three seminarians: Mike Spurr, Vic Gournas, and Don Maloney, all members of Saint Luke’s parish. A stipend is sent to each seminarian. We sent stipends in December 2006 and January and February 2007. Brother Roger Egan sends routine reports to Father Clay who is the Diocesan Coordinator for seminarians. In addition, our council members routinely pray for the seminarians. Brother Knights sending the payments include a brief note encouraging and supporting the men in their studies and formation. Typically we receive notes back from the seminarians expressing their gratitude for our prayers and support. If back in the parish, the seminarians greet our members, etc. and attend our functions when possible.
